​I am an experienced shooter who hasn’t done a ton of shooting over the last couple of years. I decided to take this class as a refresher, and it was a great experience. Kathleen and Mario recognized my experience but tactfully advised that I should keep pace with the rest of the class. And it was worth it. Sometimes you just have to get back to the fundamentals in order to acknowledge bad habits that you’ve developed over the years and just shake off some of the rust in general. I found the class to be very well structured, informative and​most importantly, safe. I’ll be looking into their more advanced classes when the opportunity arises.
The instructors kept the class very clear and concise. I have a bit of firearms experience but not all that much in a class or formal environment. It’s amazing how much I learned when I just slowed down and paid attention. I recommend this class to anyone who is new to pistols or has experience but hasn’t taken a structured class. Well worth the investment of time and money. 

The class was amazing. The instructors Mario and Kat have a lot of experience and knowledge that made the class comfortable as someone who came in knowing nothing! They took the time and care to ensure the students understood the lessons as well as felt comfortable throughout the entire class - both in the classroom as well as in the practice range.  

Thank you Mario and Kat for the classroom and shooting courses! We felt welcomed the minute we walked in. I'm just a typical mom looking to protect my family and home. The courses are filled with so much critical information (who would've known)!! Shooting ranges are perfect! They accommodated my son with his schedule as he is on active duty. I got Kat as my shooting instructor! She has such a passion for training and made sure I left with confidence! I will be back for more as there is always something new to learn!                       I highly recommend!

Valuable experience. Great class with a good pace. Knowledgeable instructors who helped me understand the anatomy of a firearm and how to confidently handle a firearm.  

This is an excellent class to learn fire arm safety. The instructors are knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Both the class time and range time are well worth it and I look forward to taking more classes. 

Mario and Kat were very professional and knowledgeable. I enjoyed learning from them they kept it fun and interesting and extremely safe I feel 100% more competent and safe with caring and using a firearm. 

This was such a great course, especially for a first time firearm user like me. Kathy and her team are extremely professional and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this class for anyone interested in how to handle a firearm safely and properly!! 

Such a great class! I never held a gun before and by the time the class was finished I felt so informed and was comfortable holding and shooting the gun thanks to the amazing instructors. Kathleen and Mario were awesome! I highly recommend.  

This class was absolutely amazing. I went having very little gun handling experience and didn't exactly know how comfortable or confident I would feel walking out of the class, but it exceeded my expectations. It helped make me feel more comfortable and secure when it came to handling a gun. It also felt so empowering to take the class with other women who wanted to take their protection into their own hands. Their was several hours spent in the classroom going over so much that goes into being a gun owner, handling safety, ect. They made sure we felt comfortable before we even stepped onto the range. I couldn't recommend it enough and will be taking another class with them.

Very knowledgeable. Great for first time shooters as great refresher for experienced shooters. Tactical skills as well as good reminders of situational awareness and how to be alert and responsive to threats.
USCCA had a representative come in and explain the benefits of their services, including legal assistance and insurance.
Coming from Chicago and being taught street smarts is something a lot of people don't understand. Kathleen and Mario we each have an RSO working with us out on the range. Every staff member worked well as a team. They cover Common mistakes to avoid and advise you to have a plan in place.
We all have something valuable to share as far as our own personal experiences and the wrap up conversation with really appreciated we got to hear about everyone's experience and had an opportunity to discuss what we would like to learn going forward.
I highly recommend their class. It was a full day and we left with more confidence as well as a book to review and keep for future reference.
